Browse a selection of pull plugs for through holes including silicone pull masking plugs and neoprene pull plugs below.

  • Pull plugs are for through holes
  • The lengths for the major diameter and the minor diameter are normally the same
  • The major diameter should preferably exceed that of the parallel hole by approximately 0.5 to 1.00 mm
  • Please note: allowing for the 45 degree shoulder the overall length is slightly more than twice the major/minor length
  • The smaller diameter tail should be fed through the hole and the larger pulled into place leaving some of it exposed outside the hole

Neoprene Rubber Pull Plugs – NPT

  • Pressure moulded from selected neoprene to give the correct degree of flexibility and hardness for through and blind holes in cold and hot conditions
  • For use with most electroplating masking and anodising electrolytes as well as chemical milling, powder coating, painting applications and abrasive blasting
  • Suitable for through and blind holes
  • Maximum operating temperature 170°C
  • Suitable for stove painting to this maximum temperature
  • Reusable without leaving carbon deposits

Silicone Rubber Pull Plugs – SPT

  • Silicone pull plugs made from high grade silicone suitable for higher temperatures used in powder coating and for most electroplating masking and anodising electrolytes.
  • Outstanding chemical resistance in anodising, etching, E-coating systems, chrome plating, conversion coating, electroless nickel playing, etc.
  • Maximum operating temperature 260°C
  • Suitable for stove painting to this maximum temperature
  • Reusable without leaving carbon deposits

Standard major and minor lengths are both 25.40 mm. If different, ‘S’ & ‘L’ code indicates a shorter or longer length.
